Linda Gail Cash, Licensed Professional Counselor, specializes in individual, couples and family therapy and maintains a private practice in Burlington, NC. She counsels not only from a professionally trained view of our challenges in life, but also from personal experience. She has parented a daughter with a lengthy dibilitating neurological illness resulting in that daughter's death at the age of 23. Her AIG adopted son has faced many challenges in life as well and now is doing very well in life.
She is divorced and has started over in life at mid life. As a blended family, she is proud to have participated in parenting two beautiful young adults from their late elementary years to the present time. One has successfully graduated from MSU in packaging engineering and the other is a senior at UNCG in Business and Marketing. Both worked as well as attended college developing career paths alongside academic excellence.
She has supported her life partner of 15+ years through a diagnosis of cancer and the 5+ year treatment path toward healing. With each of these challenging life events, she understands the welcome relief seeing a competent counselor can bring to frightening life situations.
With over 25 years of experience as an educator and therapist, and as a graduate of the University of North Carolina Greensboro specializing in educational counseling, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are relational issues including relationships with spouse, children, adolescents, educational issues, relationships with material possessions, money, career, relationship with one's emotions including anxiety, stress, confusion, loss, and relationship with the health of yourself and those you love. Grief and loss are areas of speciality as well. All spiritual viewpoints are honored in all counseling sessions.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Linda Gail Cash has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Positive Behavior Support, Conflict Mediation, and Christian view points on various issues including gender issues current in today's news.
